The 'It's Showtime' hosts of the 2023 GMA Gala express gratitude for their invitation to attend.

The hosts of ABS-CBN's well-known noontime program "It's Showtime" made a historic appearance at this year's GMA Gala in an unexpected turn of events, making it the first time ever that the two competing networks had collaborated on such a prominent platform. ABS-CBN fans will recognize Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, and Jhong Hilario as they walked the red carpet as guests of honor at the occasion.

Vice Ganda couldn't contain her happiness as she thanked the GMA Network for producing It's Showtime! during the red-carpet interviews. a new residence on GTV. The move to GMA occurred while ABS-CBN faced difficult circumstances, including the loss of its broadcasting franchise in 2020, which resulted in the indefinite suspension or cancellation of several of its programs.

Despite the challenges, It's Showtime managed to reach viewers in 2022 thanks to a collaboration with TV5. But when the long-running noontime program Eat Bulaga's original hosts relocated to TV5, It's Showtime was forced to air via GMA's sister channel, GTV.

This change gave the hosts access to a bigger audience because they could now be seen on both free television and internet streaming services. Jhong Hilario expressed his appreciation and mentioned the kind response they had from the GMA Kapuso community.

The hosts talked about how happy they were to meet both new and known faces while the gala was all sparkle and glamour. Anne Curtis was very happy to see some old acquaintances again because she had previously worked with GMA before joining ABS-CBN.

As the evening progressed, the hosts delighted in the presence of other celebrities and the chance to party with them. Vice Ganda, who is known for her distinctive fashion sense, commanded attention in her extravagantly embellished gown and feathered shawl, while the dapper Vhong Navarro looked dapper in a metallic blue tuxedo.

The evening had a more upscale feel thanks to Anne Curtis, who looked ethereal in her Saint Laurent x Tiffany & Co. combination.

It's Showtime hosts' attendance at the #GMAGala2023 not only roused fan excitement but also represented a moment of harmony between the two networks, putting aside any prior network feuds. The event was a genuine celebration of friendship and admiration for the Philippine entertainment industry.
