Soon, viewers may be able to watch "Wowowin," the popular game variety show hosted by Willie Revillame, on not just one but two government TV channels. Willie Revillame and the chief executives of two stations, IBC-13 and PTV-4, are said to be in talks, according to reports.

The rumors started after a picture of Willie Revillame visiting the PTV-4 studio of the state-owned television station surfaced. He was joined by the station's general manager, Anna Puod, as well as the news anchors Aljo Bendijo and Angelique Lazo.

IBC13 President Jimmy Policarpio stated a desire to take both PTV-4 and Channel 13 in a new direction, aiming to transform them from just government stations to networks that also appeal to the general public through entertaining content. Policarpio stated that their meeting with PTV-4's General Manager was for "exploratory talks."

We'd like to have a new direction for PTV-4 and Channel 13, making it not only a government station but also a network that appeals to the masses. Entertainment is also necessary to make the television station appealing, Policarpio said in an interview. "We're talking right now, purely on an exploratory basis.

While conversations between Willie Revillame, Anna Puod, and Jimmy Policarpio at Shangri-La The Fort are still going on, Willie has been invited by PTV-4 and IBC13 to bring his popular show "Wowowin" to their networks. If a deal is made, "Wowowin" will be broadcast concurrently on PTV-4 and IBC-13 from Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Since no formal agreement has yet been reached, these discussions are still at an exploratory stage. But if the talks are successful, it might signal a dramatic change in the government TV stations' lineup, with a well-liked and entertaining show like "Wowowin" perhaps joining their current lineup.
